Low top style, made from a new cotton twill, named the 'Broken Twill' because the weave has twice as many warp as weft yarns - making it both stronger and robust, yet smooth at the same time. This fabric is often used in the production of workwear because of its longevity. Most vulcanised shoes have cotton uppers, but Broken Twill gives a more elegant look with the same ruggedness. The cassette outer sole, taken from the Superga® 70s archives, is made of a single piece of rubber which 'contains' the upper.
